4 on the bounce as Blues up to ninth

Sidley United 3 - 1 Hawkhurst United - ESFL Premier Division 

For the third match in a row Sidley United won by a 3 - 1 scoreline as they gave themselves breathing space from the bottom two.

Lewis Wade got the ball rolling with an early strike after 5 minutes and the Blues doubled the lead with a lovely goal from Andy Atkin on 25 minutes as Sidley controlled the first half.

Hawkhurst threatened to get back into the game when they pulled a goal back on 67 minutes but their charge stalled when two quick yellow cards in succession saw them go down to 10 men on 86 minutes. 

And just a minute later Sidley sealed the win as Archie Ball struck to ensure of all three points. With that result Sidley move three points clear of the bottom two and above St Leonards Social into ninth place.

Next week the Blues travel to Punnetts Town.
