St Leonards Social Match Preview

Sidley United are in cup action on Saturday as they entertain fellow Premier Division side St Leonards Social in the ESFL Presidents Cup.

St Leonards are former Premier Division winners but have endured a slow start to the current campaign, having picked up 2 wins from 7 league matches. One of those came last week as they thumped Rock A Nore 7 - 0. They will be hoping that that result will kick start their season.

Sidley suffered last minute heartbreak last week as they were beaten by a stoppage time goal to lose to Hollington United 2 - 1. Despite the scoreline, Blues can take heart from a strong performance and a much better balance across key areas of the pitch.

The match kicks off at 2.30pm at Hooe Rec. The referee for the second week running is Carl Hollobone. Sidley welcome all supporters and hope that you enjoy the game.
